Men’s Ministry

Mission:

We exist to equip and encourage men to become fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. God is our passion and growing in Him is our purpose. Our aim is to be men of strong character and integrity who serve and support one another, “as iron sharpens iron” (Proverbs 27:17).

Action:

We offer multiple opportunities year-round for men to come together to grow spiritually and enjoy some fun activities that strengthen our bond as Christian men. To find out more how you can get involved, please click on the Contact link below.

Discipleship / Mentoring

We are committed to CBC’s goal of “making disciples who declare the gospel of Jesus Christ,” so everything we do is designed to encourage each man to be a disciple and a disciple-maker.

Journeymen Discipleship

The Journeymen Discipleship program uses a micro-group model (3-5 men) to be transformational and relational as we focus on becoming active, devoted followers of Jesus Christ together. The Journeymen Discipleship program aims to obey Christ’s commission for us to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) while lifting, sharpening, and supporting each other as men.

Fellowship and Fun Activities

Throughout the year we create space for men to connect, support, and encourage one another on their faith journey. Events could include Men’s Breakfast at the church, golf, softball, target shooting, cornhole, and a movie night. Such activities are aimed to foster a sense of community and accountability among us as Christian men.

Men’s Golf Leagues

Hit the links with other men from CBC. Nothing challenges our sanctification more than a round of golf, so here’s a great opportunity to grow your game and your walk with the Lord by golfing with other believers.

Marksmen Shooting Group

There are many parallels between becoming an expert marksman on the range and living out a godly life. Both require dedication, perseverance, self-control, and discipline for improvement. Whether at the range or in life, the Marksmen group aims to improve each man’s skills and relationship with Jesus. This group meets monthly to connect guys with like-minded, godly men who are involved in each other’s lives on and off the range.

Archery – Third Saturday of the month, April-September

Men’s Softball Teams

CBC typically fields two softball teams: one for guys who really want to win and one that’s still competitive but slightly more recreational. So, whether you’re a “ringer” or a rookie, we’ve got a team for you where Christian men can enjoy playing on the diamond together.
