CBC Kids

CBC Kids!

Our kids team provides children from four-weeks old through fifth grade a chance to learn about the goodness of God, all in age-appropriate ways and environments! We’ll come alongside your family to help support your child’s spiritual growth.

We offer programming on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM and Sundays at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM. Your kids will enjoy games, worship, a Bible story and crafts every time we meet.

Compass Kids (September – May)

Joining us on a Wednesday night? From September through May, kids (four weeks through 5th grade) have special Compass Kids programming at 6:00 PM! It’s designed to help them use the Bible as their guide for a meaningful, well-lived life.

Sidekicks

side· kick | ˈsīd-ˌkik noun
1. a close friend.   2. an ally or partner

We know families with special needs children often do not get to worship together as a family or worship at all, and we are here to change that!

Each child will have a sidekick, and we have a designated room with a curriculum and activities tailored to children with special needs. We offer sidekicks during our 8:30 and 10 a.m. services.

We offer programming on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM and Sundays at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM.

Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early on your first visit to allow time to meet our children’s team and help your child get comfortable. The CBC Kids check-in is on the upper level. You will be greeted by our amazing team of staff and volunteers, who will give you all the necessary information. You will be given a number that will pop up on the screen during the services if there is any problem, so that you can worship without having to worry.

Yes. We have an experienced and highly-trained security team who monitor our kids’ spaces before, during and after services to ensure the safety of our children. Many of our volunteer security team are current or former first-responders and security professionals.
Children and parents receive matching printed nametags and pick-up tags to ensure safety. The child’s nametag identifies their age group, any allergies, and a security code, which matches the parent pick-up tag.
Men can walk a child to the door of the restroom, but they cannot enter the restroom. Parents are asked to change their child’s diaper before signing them into the classroom. If a child soils their diaper heavily during service, a volunteer will reach out to the parents for a diaper change. If parents are unavailable to respond, the volunteer or Kids Director will step in to change the child’s diaper.
Cheerios are provided for Infant-walkers, Animal crackers & pretzels for 2 year olds through preschool.
